Founder of Plumeria Nail
Born in Yokohama, Kanagawa, 1982. While working as a support worker at a facility for the disabled, she was diagnosed with progressive spinal cord intractable disease in 2014, and in 2015, she developed difficulty walking. 2018, she opened a nail salon in her own home, renovating the space to make it easy for the disabled to come and receive her services. In 2021, she started beach clean activities and developed "marine litter nails" using microplastics found on the beach. In 2022, she received a special award for excellence at the 8th Women's Entrepreneurship Challenge Awards, establishing a school for women with disabilities. Nailist, social activist, entrepreneur.
