Yuki Shiina (Founder of ZEN Breathing Method / Internal Ecosystem Regulator)

For 15 years, starting in his teens, he suffered from chronic headaches of unknown origin that never stopped. However, he overcame them after encountering the breathing techniques of Hakuin Zenji, a Zen monk from the Edo period, and achieved remarkable health. This experience led him to systematically research the effects of breathing and posture on the mind and body, and in 2006, he established the "ZEN Breathing Method."

The ZEN breathing method has gained high acclaim as a practical method that modernizes Zen philosophy and bodily knowledge. Currently, it holds regular courses and workshops not only in Japan but also overseas in France, the UK, the US, Greece, Germany, and other countries. In Japan, it is based at the ZEN Breathing Studio in Yoyogi, Tokyo, and the "Jinen Juku" in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, and also conducts numerous training sessions for companies and organizations, as well as lectures at educational institutions. It also provides training to the monks of Engaku-ji Temple in Kamakura.

He has authored numerous books. His latest publication is "ZEN Breathing Method: Health Starts with Hakuin" (Shunjusha), co-authored with Abbot Nanrei Yokota of Engaku-ji Temple in Kamakura.
